More Than Just Shopping—A Day to Be Celebrated
Many children enter foster care with only the essentials - and little say in what those essentials are. By allowing them to choose their own school supplies and clothes, we restore a sense of control, identity, and joy. For many, it's the first time someone has asked what they want, not just what they need. These moments of choice help build confidence, trust, and emotional well-being.
